Despite the small size, this branch has a really good range. I went in to buy a silver charm for a child’s bracelet and received as much personal service as would have been given to someone buying an expensive watch. When I explained what I was looking for, the assistant rummaged under the counter to find it, as the last one on display had already been sold, then put it in a gift-​box and a posh bag. Arriving home I realised I’d covered the bag in newsprint marks, so went back the next day and was handed a replacement.

The staff in this branch are very friendly and helpful. The shop is tiny so it is difficult to move around, especially if it is busy. They sell a range of gold and silver jewellery for men and women, plus quality gifts. You can have your gifts engraved and they will adjust bracelets to fit free of charge, often while you wait. The service is superb and each item is gift boxed and put into a Links bag — the presentation is amazing!
