This place is an upmarket fish restaurant with a great menu. Some pricey items but all in all I’d say average for good quality fish dishes in London. I absolutely loved the mussels here. Definitely some of the best I’ve ever had. They were just delicious with a great sauce and such soft, fresh white bread. My friend had the sea bass and said it was really good. Would 100% recommend this place for the quality of the food.

I took my(rather fussy) grandparents to dinner at Loch Fyne, having never eaten there before myself, and was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was quiet on a weekday evening, although that didn’t bother us. I had the roasted field mushroom with goats cheese to start — and found it delicious, which was a shock considering I don’t like mushrooms! For my main I had the pea risotto, which was good, and for dessert I ate a delicious plate of chocolate ice cream, raspberry sorbet, chocolate shavings, crumbled amaretti biscuit and chocolate soil. I don’t eat seafood so was really pleasantly surprised by Loch Fyne’s offering and will try to return.

Our small group came to Loch Fyne for dinner on a weeknight. Ambiance was modern fish house, with a slightly high-end feel. The menu was quite varied, serving everything from fish-and-chips to shellfish, from platters to «Fish Your Way.» They even had beef and other meat. It was almost too much choice; I was starving, so I just wanted something delicious with out so much pondering. I ended up ordering the whole, roasted sea bass off the specials list. Just a quickie list of everything I tried: – Oysters — tasty and sweet, though quite tiny – Sea Bass — Nicely done; a little boney, as expected; excellent spicing – Broccolini side dish — quite nice; not overcooked Everyone else enjoyed their meals, and we all shared a few nice bottles of New Zealand Sauv Blanc. Overall an enjoyable dinner at a reasonable price(for London).
