This is one of the smallest coffee shops I have ever been to. It is tiny, with only about 4 chairs in the room. Yet it functions very well– instead of seeming crowded, the place seems cosy– the arrangement forces the customer into becoming more familiar with the staff and each other. When I went in today for a coffee, there was a group of people sat chatting to the friendly and approachable owner, Malcolm.
Part of a larger shop– The Beehive– which encompasses 4 small businesses– the coffee shop offers reasonably priced and ethically traded coffee and cakes. With coffee and tea ranging from 1.50– 2.10 and a special offer of coffee with a cookie or tart for only 2.50, it is a good place to have a pit-​stop in Greenwich and makes a welcome change from the Starbucks across the road.
