The BBQ Shrimp and Buffalo Wings (starters) were incredible and so although I was skeptical (as I am about any BBQ place in London) I was really pleasantly surprised. This made me hopeful about the Gumbo, which turned out to be just ok. Don’t get me wrong, it was a tasty dish, but the sauce was more like s gravy than a roux. Too thick and the spices were a bit off. My girlfriend had the Jambalaya, which was also just «meh». I’d go back for the friendly atmosphere and great staff, and would just get a more basic main course like chicken or ribs.
