2 stars for not having our stuff stolen and we didn’t get any bed bugs… that we know of yet.
Biggest issue is the deceptive online pictures. They show things they don’t offer and then they lie to you at the front desk when you ask about it.
There is no A/​C in any rooms if you go down and say something they give you a small 2″ fan that does absolutely nothing.
Beds were basicly just fold out cots.
Breakfast room is small and cramped with not many options… Have to try and get my money’s worth somewhere right?
Half the time the key card only worked once then we would have to go back to the desk to get it fixed, but that could have been out fault. Other half the time, who ever was working the front desk doesn’t know anything about anything.
Not a bad location, about a block from Earls Court underground station.

After being asked to depart my «friends» place I was in bind to find a place. I went on
and found this place for 60gbp a
first I was a bit weary about staying in this place because of the cheap price but I had no choice.
I stepped off the underground at Earls Court and it was less than a 5 minute walk to the hotel.
I checked in with no problems. The rooms are super small but I was only using it to sleep.
It is also a short walk from Earls Court convention center (where LED ZEPPELIN once played but unfortunatly it was George Michael playing this week) This place rocks!!!

Oh Lord. Thanks for the most embarrassing experience of my life.
After unlocking the door to my single room, I see two more doors. One is the bathroom door, the other one’s locked and leads you to the bedroom. Now it made sense to me why the clerk gave me a key and a key card. And this is how the embarrassment starts, I apologize beforehand for going into detail.
I decided to have a quick shower, undressed my pants and my shirt, took a towel, and walked into the bathroom. Unfortunately, I left the key card in the bedroom — as the door closed behind me, I was basically locked out. A priceless WTF moment– standing awkwardly in the hallway, in my underwear, ashamed and bewildered.
The guy at the reception must have seen many naked guys in underwear before, or he incredibly cracked up right after I jumped up the stairwell. On the positive side, I scared the crap out of some Italian tourists that were waiting at the reception. I hope they thought I’m American.
So, why the hell they have two separate locks for the room door and the bedroom, and why was the bedroom so small not even a King size bed would have fit in. If you stretch both of your arms, you can easily reach the walls.
One weekend at Lord Jim was one life changing experience.

The hotel was just off the Earls court tube station and very convinient for tourists. The hotel itself was well decorated and the maintaince was very good in this area. The price was slightly more expensive but still very good value, espcially if you could book it early. High recommended.
