Football on a big screen, but thankfully silent. Clientele seem to consist of 33% local cockneys and 33% Victoria park middle class mums with home counties accents and Chelsea tractors parked outside and 33% hipsters(with fixes chained outside, of course!) 3 real ale taps — I’m sticking to the best bitter tonight(£3.80 a pint), and sourdough pizza(£7-£10 a go). The decorations are pretty kitschy — jukebox, buffalo + deer horns, raw brick, flowery wallpaper and 70s mantelpiece + of course the mandatory board games and pac-man table. The pizza is pretty good, the price is pretty good, it’s not totally packed. 4, but could be a 5 given a decent hefeweizen and some oregano.
