The location of this newsagents is genius. It is in the heart of Hampstead Village, right next to the number 24 bus stop. It is a 10sec walk from every bus stop in the locale.
The outside windows are plastered with personal notices, about renting, personal trainers to men with vans. Once inside you realise that this is a small little store, yet crammed with everything you’d expect from a newsagents. The selection of daily news is good, and the magazine section fulfils the requirement of most but is short on some of the specialist covers. There is the usual horde of sweets, snacks, chocolate and soda.
Special brownie points are scored for Oyster top ups and for Western union money transfers.
M&M is a good convenience snack and news stop. It fulfils but does not excel in every requirement of a newsagent.
