In the middle of nowhere –1 (Not for long though) +0.5 Looks nice +1 Short menu +1 Lovely staff +1 Gorgeous, simple food done well +10. Not even expensive. +1 Definitely a top place for lunch(their sandwiches and tartines are up there with the best in London!), and well worth the trip as well if you take your charcuterie and cheese seriously or are trying to source excellent quality stuff for your next antipasti party(or I am the only one doing that?)

This joint is located in the new Embassy Gardens development next to the new US embassy. It offers coffees, sandwiches, drinks, as well as a range of meats and upmarket grocery items. In the evenings it turns into more of a wine/drinks establishment. At £2.25 for a small Americano, the place is pretty standard price wise. The service is great; staff are friendly, and more than willing to strike up a convo. I’m sure as more people move into the development this place will become a favourite among locals. In the meantime, if you’re checking out the redevelopment in the Nine Elms area, this is a decent stopping point.
