This is a fantastic little gastro deli in the heart of Hackney wick run by Martin and Isabella, a really charming and cheerful couple who always make you feel at home in an instant. The icing on the cake is that they are both excellent cooks, Martin brings a Swiss flavour to the table and Isabella brings her French flavours which is a very interesting combination of influences.
I’ve had their mackerel sandwich which is really tasty and healthy. Their coffee is really great as well as the many other options on the menu, from breakfast and lunch to cakes! They always have a selection of daily newspapers which are great to have a snoop over. Keep up the good work guys.
