It’s a shame the service is so slow at Mas Q Menos as the food was lovely. 2 of our party of 4 were running a few minutes late, so I wasn’t sure if that was the reason for the slow service, but after reading other views on here, I guess not. If you’re not in a rush for your food or even a glass of wine, then this place is actually quite nice. I ordered the goats cheese & caramelised onion tarte which was delicious, and extremely cheesy. If you’re not too familiar with this kind of food, then I recommend getting 2⁄3 dishes from the tapas menu as they’re small enough that if there’s something you don’t like the taste of, you’ve plenty more dishes to try that you won’t leave hungry. Although we all enjoyed our food, we probably won’t be running back anytime soon due to the very slow service.

Cold ‘croquettes’, extremely salty food, and whole chorizo with a relatively bland stewed sauce? No thanks. Combine that with a combination of Spanish speed, and London rude service? Definitely not a chance for redemption. Thankfully I had a Tastecard(and it was my last day with it), but otherwise it would be scraping the bottom of the barrel for me. I’m never coming back here. Heck, even La Tasca is better **shudder**

Mediocre bordering on bad service. Like every other business in the area, there is limited seating. Once seated it took seemingly forever for someone to clean the table, bring menus, and take orders. The servers were just standing around talking to each other. I saw that they had jamon iberico, which is difficult to find where I’m from, so I ordered the tabla surtido espanol. I also tried the croquetas de jamon, and the ensalada de queso de cabra. The tabla was ok but way overpriced. Over 15£ for a few ounces of meat and cheese, none of which were any better than the equivalent at Trader Joe’s. The goat cheese salad was great because they gave you a fat portion of cheese. The vegetables were of acceptable freshness but really soggy because they put way too much balsamic dressing on it. The croqueta wasn’t anything special. It was four small pieces with a sliver of ham. The texture felt like it was filled with mayonnaise. If everything else is full, you can get away with coming here. I feel though that the focus in this place is to get you smashed, and not really on the food.

Food: great, service: lacklustre at best. Food seemed to come out relatively quickly once you managed to attract the attention of a staff member, and was quite delicious. Special mention to the Jamon with brie atop softbread. The time taken to flag down a staff member however was tedious at best. The place wasn’t exactly busy and the staff seemed to hang about chatting with one another vs tending to their clientele, when an order was placed, 15 – 20 minutes later, it would have to be reiterated and subsequently inquired about to determine the progress of said drink order. TLDR: Manhana. Luego. In Spain when the price matches the relaxed atmosphere, no worries. In Soho at these prices? No.

Waste of money and FROZEN food. My two friends and I went there last night to use a Groupon. Half the tapas menu wasn’t available, our waiter looked like he was on something and seemed spaced out. When the food arrived we were very disappointed, the chorizo was soggy and swimming in a pool of greasy liquid, it literally looked like it had been cooked in a microwave. The patatas bravas were the ‘best’ thing we ate even though they were covered with a thick layer of spicy mayo. The croquettes are all frozen and tasteless. We also had to send back the greens peppers which were soggy and dripping all over. They cooked an other batch and it was the same thing. I never had such bad tapas and we were not the only ones sending the food back to the kitchen that night. I am a foodie and used to going out to eat and this is by far the most disappointing experience in London. Extremely disappointing, will never go back.

Been here twice now and took my team at work here last Wednesday. We booked because there was a deal for 50% off food through a promotional card. You definitely need to be aware though that the discount is only off a relatively small proportion of the menu overall; the tapas bit. They do make that clear in advance though. Service was pleasant, but pretty slow. We had to ask for things a couple of times and had to ask for more drinks twice or three times too. We ordered everything on the tapas menu twice(there were 8 of us), except the pork belly because I learned last time it’s actually pork stomach lining! One thing was unavailable so we got a couple of full price meat platters too and some additional quiche. It started coming out really quickly and some of it might well be reheated but the food was generally tasty and a few dishes were outright delicious. Would visit again on a deal and give it 4 stars. At normal price, given the somewhat slow service it would probably be more of a 3. They are lovely though; super helpful and pleasant staff.
