Overpriced and bland food, service was ssssllllllooooooooooow. Kebabs for 20 pounds should not be allowed to be that bland. Service was very, very, very slow…

This is a nice spot and the food generally really good. Today we got the new waitress which was a bit droll as it took a little too much explaining to order. That being said the king prawns and pita haloumi small plate were great and the lamb shawarma was yummy washed down with a lovely cool mint non alcoholic cocktail. Please just train your waiting staff!

I like kebabs as much as the next man but I don’t want to pay £20 for one. Massis is beautifully decked out, but at the end of the day the food is pretty standard middle eastern fare priced a little too high for what it is. If you want good middle eastern go to the Edgware road round the corner.
Massis has 4 competitors within 50 yards. Having tried all of them many times, I can tell you that Massis ranks bottom for me.
However the takeaways lunch specials are great value.

The Unilocal map doesn’t show you exactly where this lovely little restaurant is located, but no matter — you cannot miss seeing it when you get to Sheldon Square. Our business group walked over from the Novotel one evening and enjoyed it immensely. We ordered a Massis grill selection, vegetarian set menu, and light set menu — possibly more since there was an amazing amount and variety of food on the table. Both the meat eaters and the vegetarians were very happy with the food. Another plus, it was quiet enough to converse! We all agreed this was a great find.
