It is my sad duty to report that Mehak’s standards are slipping. In my last few visits one take-​away order was wrong (forgivable) but more concerning is the blandness that has inhibited some of their formerly consistent meals. They look the same but the taste has gone.
Perhaps they have a new chef? I just don’t know but it’s definitely not as good anymore.
I hope they can regroup and get back to their old selves because Mehak was a fine restaurant. Damn fine.

Plenty of choice, was turned onto this place by friends who reckoned it didn’t leave that kinda greasy aftertaste that pops up in some indians. A main & a naan (about £9) nicely covers you for two days; a real acid test is reheating takeaway; thats when you see whats been congealing! Nothing happenin. Definitely a return visit planned
