Minicabit

Absolutely fantastic service. I had to go back to Wales for a funeral, and the staff at Minicabit could not have been more helpful. The driver was also lovely. Their prices were very fair. I highly recommend them.

Don’t bother using them for Heathrow pickups, they’ll never come or will cancel. Even my pickup in East London to Heathrow was once almost an hour late… three strikes! Never again.

I booked this service for my arrival in London from airport to hotel, and for my departure from hotel to airport.
On my way from airport to hotel, the service was okay. No complaint there.
However, for my departure from hotel to airport on March 19^th, I give this company 0 stars. I had booked this service to take me to the airport. I had entered my flight information. However, I guess the service accidentally put down terminal 4 instead of terminal 3 to drop me off. When I got in the cab with my 8 year old daughter, the driver asked me if he was dropping me off at terminal 4. When I said that he was mistaken, it was actually terminal 3 — he told me to recheck flight (note: the cab still hasn’t moved from where he picked us up from the hotel). After confirming that it was terminal 3, he said he would only take us there for an additional 5 pounds! WTF! London Heathrow airport, terminal 4 is actually farther AND I had taken this service from the airport to hotel a couple of days before and the cost was exactly the same!
I didn’t know what to do, especially with an 8 year old in the car, and we needed to get to the airport. So I agreed to pay him an additional 5 pounds.
This is the sketchy thing about taxi or cab service. Even if you prepaid, you still have those drivers that basically rips you off because you’re in a different country. What was I suppose to do? Unacceptable. I even left a review with the service after.
This is why Über is basically a better option than taking traditional taxis or cabs. You don’t get ripped off.
Do not use this service.

Driver who picked me up never arrived; I had to call company several times to finally get a driver to pick me up.
I had a change to return pickup time — was told my Minicabit they had contacted taxi to let them know. When I called taxi day before, they still had the original, and incorrect, pick up time listed.
I met some great taxi drivers, but will never, ever use Minicabit — they wasted my time and only served to mess up the process.
