The local café has recently moved to new premises and they are much better than their last premises. The café now looks like a cross between a restaurant and greasy spoon and I’m not sure that it works. The whole places looks really classy and nice until you see that they’ve hung chalk boards on the wall. The food at the local café is great. There’s a good variety of café food. Don’t expect a restaurant style meal. This place looks like a restaurant(the presmises used to be a restaurant) but the food is café food. I personally like it. It’s not expensive and it tastes good but it certainly isn’t anything fancy. They often run out of food. If you go in the evening don’t expect them to have any rolls or baguettes left. If you go in the day don’t expect them to have all of the cooked meals ready. It’s unfortunate but not all menu items are available all of the time. The café is usually really cold so bring a coat. They don’t seem to have the heating on or have it on high enough. The service is quick and friendly.

No frills here just good old fry ups, burgers and general greasy essentials at essentially good prices. Friendly staff in nice blue surprisingly non greasy T-shirts and smart trousers. There’s a lot of pretencious and expensive café’s and eateries popping up in the area but this is an established down to earth right good propper local café enjoyed by people who need it. A hangover palace any day of the week and the cure is right tasty.
