New Look

It’s tough for an out of Central London branch of a chain store to make much of a go of things, but I think that the Lewisham New Look unit is doing a good job. Situated opposite Marks & Spencer, this is a fair sized shop, with a large Inspire range, and a good sized shoe section. I’m impressed by how much they manage to pack in here without it feeling necessarily too crowded (unless you get a couple of large buggies blocking the centre aisle). The staff in here seem to be very friendly and chatty, and are quick to discount for a missing button, or a slight mark on an item. The only real gripe I have is that when clothes get knocked to the floor, they tend to stay there (yep, I’ve visited this store twice in a day several hours apart to see the same folorn t-​shirt cowering on the floor). Oh well, never mind — grab those drops and see if you can get a discount!
