Overall I was disappointed with my meal at One Sixty. It wasn’t terrible food, but it was bland and on the whole very average. I would say it was a mostly average or slightly below average experience. By far the best thing about the place was the waiting staff. The waiting staff were professional, attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. With so many restaurants in this area from which to choose, I will not be returning to One Sixty.

Really good food and a relaxed atmospheric vibe! I’ve also had take out from here using deliveroo and the food arrived warm and delicious! The chicken wings and blue cheese ranch dressing is Devine and I rate the beef ribs highly too!

Wonderful restaurant for lunch and dinner. All the food ordered on our table was perfectly prepared. The venue is perfect and we also love the bar area where food can also be ordered. Today is not sunny but if it did the outside area would have been the place to be!

OneSixty is an awesome smoke house with good music and a great addition to the West Hampstead high-street, you can’t deny it! The ribs are(most of the time) awesome and the food on a whole is tasty. Mac and Cheese is very good here and in comparison to many places it isn’t too rich or too creamy. The lobster role is nice… but that is about it. You can tell the filling for the brioche bun has just come out of the fridge. Having a cold filling isn’t very nice — care to ensure it is at least served at room temperature would be appreciated; perhaps giving the bun a slight toasting would be nice. The craft beer selecting is impressive and has been steadily developing since the opening. The brunch seems to have consistency issues, one week I’m drowning in capers on my eggs and avocado with sourdough, the next week, not a caper in sight. It is slightly frustrating but that doesn’t mean it isn’t still tasty.

Great cocktails, great service, great smokehouse! The ribs are fantastic(be warned portion sizes are huge so don’t go too crazy on starters– but plus side is you can take it home in a doggy bag!)

The atmosphere is fun and the staff very nice but unfortunately the food isn’t great at all. The lobster roll was too mayonnaisey, the ribs while nicely smoked lacked sauce and flavour, the pulled pork was only Ok and the mac and cheese needed salt and was just so/so. I wouldn’t waste your time — just go next door to the Black Lion.

As an American, who loves BBQ, I’m going to say I was pleasantly surprised by this places. I’ve been here twice. 1. Rib Tips: Good, not great sauce, tender meat, got about 7 tips. Overall a good BBQ starter if you are getting a non-BBQ sauce based main course. 2. Mac n Cheese. Really fantastic. Not sure what kind of cheese is used, but it almost takes on two different personalities; a savory, intense flavor when crisped on top of the dish and a more creamy rich flavor when its more liquid form in the noodles. 3. Lobster roll: pretty good amount of lobster. Not too much mayo. Roll was soft and buttery. 4. Pork ribs: What a huge rack! Great value. Like the rib tips, the sauce was good and the meat tender. I prefer a dry rub, but overall, not too shabby. Value was okay. Been here twice, but not a must go. Also, the beer selection is pretty legit.

All hype and style over substance. Nice and trendy with some good drinks behind the bar. Food was just bland served on trendy plates, even the macaroni cheese was poor, dry and flavourless. In fact all dishes we tried were flavourless from the chicken salad to the smoked lamb. It’ll do well because it knows who it’s catering for, and it’s not a bad bar to go to and have some nice drinks but just expect mediocre trendy food and you’ll be ok.

Fantastic new restaurant in the area — ribs, lobster rolls and lots of other goodies. It’s great quality food, and casual but stylish setting. Good for kids too. Only thing is that I wish there was more sauce on the ribs though, even though it was deliciously smokey, it does need a bit more sauce to keep it finger lickin good.

For what it is, this place is pretty wonderful. I just moved to this area and came out in search of a dinner and stumbled into this place.(The boy was craving smoked meat and pulled me in here.) The set up is admittedly confusing — the front half is a bar and the back is a restaurant, but there’s little indication of the fact that the restaurant hostess is in the middle of the room — but the staff is very helpful in getting you where you need to go. Speaking of the staff, that was definitely a highlight. The waitress was incredibly helpful, getting my boyfriend samples of beer and taking us through the menu. And when we were paying at the end of the meal, the bartender came over with our bill and asked what we ordered, then made recommendations based on that for next time. Because, yes, there will be a next time. But the food is why you’re here and the food is why you’ll return. I had a lobster roll which was absolutely delicious. It was exactly like the lobster rolls I grew up on — potato bread hot dog roll stuffed with huge chunks of lobster lightly tossed in a dressing and a single piece of lettuce — and served with a lightly dressed green salad. My boyfriend had the smoked lamb which came with mash, grated carrots, red cabbage, and pureed peas in a jus, which he described as «perfect.» The drinks menu is definitely for the beer lovers, but also has a decentish selection of wine. The draft beer is lager and IPA heavy but there’s an extensive bottle collection. They also have Fentimans Cherry Cola, so I’m sold!

It is a smoke house with some of the classics, pulled pork, pork ribs, etc. quality of meat is quite good and slaw, chips are also good quality. All good, however, it lacks a wow factor…, the menu does not really have full BBQ menu, missing some classics like beef ribs, brisket, chicken, etc., and it’s mac and cheese is not good… What I appreciated is healthier factor whilst I missed, tangy sweet taste in BBQ and more choices. I read done comments around bad services — my personal experience was very positive… This is definitely a good choice to have in nw corner but not a destination restaurant.

One Sixty on West End Lane is an interesting addition to the area and worth a visit. Quality food in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Just a few days after it opened, I went to One Sixty, a new restaurant in the heart of West Hampstead. This restaurant goes with the wider industry trend and comes across a little bit industrial with some wood and some metal. With a lot of black, it feels more classy than many other recent openings around London. However, what I did not like when it comes to the interior are the screens — but some people might value it highly if they can watch a soccer match or whatever. I don’t. Besides that, I really liked the atmosphere and the service was very friendly and nice. For starters, they recommended Mac and Cheese — and the forgot about it… at least the noticed it, before I had finished my main. Unfortunately, by then it was a little bit too late and I was no longer in starter mode. As they just opened and at least noticed that they forgot something before I left, I thought it was okay and handled well. I must admit that another low point was the wine. I selected a French Viognier, and I simply did not like it that much. But that is alone my fault, I am sure the wine was of good quality, just ot my taste. As main I had the ox cheeks and they were delicious, although admittedly not really my most favourite dish. It sounded interesting and was recommended, and overall I liked it. I had the ox cheeks with chips and the chips were okay, not bad, but also not great. The dessert was definitely the highlight for me. I ordered the donuts and chocolate sauce — a delishious dish and the chocolate sauce went very well with the wine! So, my wine selection paid off at the end. For coffee, they do Lavazza pods. Being not the biggest fan of Lavazza, I decided to leave without a coffee. What do I make of it? For West Hampstead, it is definitely a great addition to the dining landscape, I would say. And if I select food and wine I actually enjoy and they do not forget my starter, I could be in for a treat when I go to One Sixty again.

We were excited to eat here after hearing the hype and being told reservations were tough to get. The back tables were empty(5:15pm), but they couldn’t seat us there due to standing reservations(of which none appeared during our whole meal). They said we could sit in the front bar and order food. The music was too loud, so I wasn’t happy to start with, but was excited to have a good burger. We ordered the pulled pork sandwich and the hamburger. Sadly, when the food arrived, the pork was flavorless… no sauce, BBQ or otherwise, so it was just«meh» in taste. Moist, but zero flavor. C’mon chef… take a bite of the sandwich and tell me you think it’s good! Hamburger WAS good, but the salad that came with it was very lightly dressed in oil and after my third bite(grating my teeth against tiny grains of dirt), I gave up. Wash the salad thoroughly! We did tell the server about the salad and she offered me another salad. No thanks. SERVICEWASGREAT, though… …but we won’t be back.

First, the basics. One Sixty is the new project from David Moore, the restauranteur behind the Michelin starred Pied à Terre and L’Autre Pied restaurants. It’s named after the ideal temperature for smoking meat; which is the restaurants’ speciality. The wife and I had a rare night out, so was looking for something extra-special. And we love smoked meats, so it seemed a great choice. Entering, they have a doorman, which is a good sign. However as soon as we were actually in the bar /restaurant it was immediately confusing. Do you proceed to the bar to register that you’re there for food, or move to the booking system computer in the middle of the restaurant? We tried first the former, then the latter. But it was an uncertain start, and despite three/four staff at the system nobody seemed to acknowledge our presence for a while. Finally sat down, it has a short, enticing menu. Which is a good start. And a great range of beers and drinks. Ordering was pretty swift, and to be fair, the food also came quickly. We tried the fish bites to start, pulled pork bun, the ribs, chips and slaw. We rather startled a waitress asking to change an order mid-meal, but it was changed without fuss. Unfortunately nothing really hit the spot. The fish bites were too bready, the pulled pork rather uninspiring, the ribs oversalted, the slaw just ok. Towards the end of the meal(around 10.30pm) the music volume was suddenly amped up making it too uncomfortable to stay much longer, so we took the bill(reasonable cost) and left. It’s opened in a venue that has struggled in the past — Me love sushi was there for not many months. However it is slap bang in the middle of West End Lane, next to the Black Lion, so it shouldn’t be the location which affects it. For West Hampstead, I think it’s worth trying. But if you’re on a rare night out with a discerning French wife, I’d suggest hopping on a tube and going further afield for decent ribs and smoked meats.
