A great Persian restaurant located in Temple Fortune that also do home delivery. I discovered this place one night when I was feeling hungry but didn’t fancy cooking I went online and discovered this Persian restaurant. I’ve always been a fan of Persian food, a cross between mediterrean and Indian with a heavy fruit influence. The food here is delicious and very filling and very reasonably priced. I recommend trying one of the stews. If you can’t be bothered to go out to eat at the restaurant and you live in the are they will also deliver to you. Check them out on Hungry House or You Eat.

Here be fluffy clouds of chicken kebab! The restaurant is nice, the service is good, and the food is excellent. I’m not generally a chicken kebab person but I have to say when it comes in the form of a juicy, tender and delicious cloud, I am willing to be one! I had the boneless joojeh and it was nice to have the option as they also offer it on the bone. I have also tried my favourite koobideh(mince meat kabob) and found it was good quality lamb and quite delicious. It came with a yummy roast tomato and went very well with the saffron-scented steaming Persian rice. The juiciness of the meat flavours the rice it’s on, mmm. For appetisers we shared the kashke bademjan, which is grilled aubergines with dried mint, soured yoghurt, fried onions & walnuts. I wasn’t expecting to like it but it was excellent and I kept ignoring my own dolmeh(vine leaves stuffed with rice which were not great) appetiser and reaching for the flavorful kashke bademjan:) The kebab portions are very generous and the prices are reasonable. They also deliver. I tried their delivery afterwards(it is hard to find a good delivery place, score!) and the food arrived fresh and hot. I had the okra and lamb stew(khoresh bamiyeh) which was good, although it couldn’t beat their kebabs. So to sum up, excellent Persian kebabs on Finchley Road! I would have taken photos of the food but I was distracted by the yumminess! Can’t wait to go again:)
