Paperchase Strand

This Paperchase is a godsend for people coming in from National Rail in desperate need of ribbon and sellotape. All hail Paperchase!
Working in events, I’ve lost count of the amount of times we’ve had a balloon emergency and if this Paperchase weren’t here, I don’t know what I’d do. But because it is, it’s just a case of running out of Charing X Station, across the road, grabbing a handful of ribbon and balloons, paying and then hightailing it to the Underground. Easy as!
But it doesn’t just sell ribbon and balloons obviously. It also has an insane supply of cards, wrapping and cool things that’d work perfectly as birthday presents so it’s ideal for that panic when you realise you’ve forgotten to get your bestie something and want to look like you’ve made proper effort.
All I can say at this point now, is Thanks Paperchase, you’ve saved my bacon on more than one occasion and long may you continue to do so!

Not a very large paperchase by any standards, but it does carry the basics.
You can find most of their mainstream notebooks, all of the black-​covered ones, many a keychain (key fob?) and near-​novelty gift item (pens, note holders, etc…)
A favourite stop on my way to Covent Garden, and a place I always wish I had reason to spend more money. It’s also particularly good as it stays open later than most shops. Even on Sunday night, well past 6pm, it was all lit up with the doors open. Hurrah for paperchase! A stationery geek’s little haven.
And yes, I know that it doesn’t have amazing quality (it’s not smythson’s bond paper, not by a long shot), but the paper is good enough to write on with a fountain pen (most notebooks) and the variety in cover colours and patterns definitely makes up for the lack of variety in paper.
