Great shop if you need something for a party at short notice. Prices are reasonable(if a touch high) but they have a great range of different themed things, and you lots of individual items which you can use to make your own decorations. I found Hawaiian style petals which I made into a lei for my friends hen party. It was well worth the effort and I will be going back to find my next accessories.

For my sister’s birthday I wanted to purchase several balloons to help make her day extra special. So, I went along to the Westfield in Stratford, where I went to Clintons and then to the Party Fiesta store to compare prices and the selection of balloons available. The Party Fiesta store was somewhat costly, but had a slightly bigger selection of balloons. It was for a special occasion, so I decided I would spend my money there, at the Party Fiesta a decision that I later regretted. I was slightly concerned about how I was getting my balloons home and was told they have bags for the balloons, which I could use to transport the balloons, so not to lose any to the skies. The service was fine up until right after I made my payment, when the salesperson handed me 6 balloons by the string, no bag and no weights. Not even the small, flat, rounded plastic weights that usually come with balloons — apparently they had run out! I was shocked to say the least. Why on earth was I being handed my balloons by the string?! Where was the bag?! Getting them home like this seemed like an impossibility, especially on the tube. And, without the basic weights attached I was worried I might lose some along the way. I was told if I wanted weights I would have to purchase some. I had spent quite a bit of money on balloons and didn’t want to risk them flying away. I then asked about the bag that I was told about and was then informed that a bag would cost me an extra 80p. Sure, it might not seem like a lot of money, but if you are spending a large amount of money on balloons to begin with, then you want some way to transport them without being told you are expected to spend more for the privilege. I was in no way impressed with this new found information. In the end I purchased the bag. But only because it was either make the journey with balloons, with no weights and no bag, which could easily result in them flying away or make the purchase. I was not happy, even attempting to get my purse out of my handbag in order to pay their 80p charge was difficult with the balloons in hand, so I had to ask the salesperson to hold the balloons while I got my money out. I was not impressed with Party Fiesta and won’t be shopping there again. If a store doesn’t have an item that usually comes with a purchase, then this should be stated before the purchase is made. A customer should also be informed that there is an extra charge for a bag beforehand. If a customer has asked about bags, a company should ensure to inform the customer that there is a price and what it is, not just the fact the store has bags. On my way out, and in typical shopping fashion, when exiting the store I saw some items that I realised I had forgotten to purchase. So, instead of spending more money at the Party Fiesta store, I went straight to Clintons, where I should have purchased the balloons to begin with.
