Football & sport heaven, when a big football day comes along and you cant decide what game to watch come here, they sometimes have 3 or 4 games on, split between 3 huge tv’s and 1 big screen, on the last day of the season or big game days they sometimes open up downstairs area with another 3 big screens down there. quick service only downside is the size, it is quite small

This bar does not even deserve a star rating! It was my first visit to this bar and the worst experience I have had in a bar in Beckenham. My friend and I were made to feel most unwelcome by the male staff in particular the (security) door man who was picking and choosing who he let into the bar. Moreover, after an hour or so of being in the bar (the door man) decided to come over and tell my friend that we had only one drink since we had been in the bar when we had just finished our drinks! Furthermore, that the bar ‘was not a library’ and insinuated that we should not be watching live football unless we were drinking more than one drink. If this was the case then there should have been a sign outside or a fee to get in. I would safely say that the door policy was in favour of people that were white and not of a foreign background or of colour. For this reason and because of the attitude of the staff I will never go again and not recommend it to anyone that comes to visit Beckenham.

Can be hit and miss here. Some nigths the clientele is good and the music better but when drinks are so expensive, it’s difficult to enjoy yourself. There’s no chance of being able to sit down either.

This bar is so Irish they’ve put it next to the only other Irish pub in town; the always cheap and cheerful O’Neills! To be honest, it doesn’t offer much that’s different from its neighbour; except it’s smaller and not as busy. Nothing really Irish about it either other than its location; the range of beers and whiskeys available are pretty much the same as you’ll find in any other pub. There’s a few Guinness signs but nothing here that’s going to make you want to spontaneously jump up and join in an impromptu céilí. They do show sport though, and you can quite often get a massive swivelling bar stool to watch it on– unlike next door. Best bet: Hop between the two.
