Pizza Express

We had dinner here after a long day of sightseeing. We all enjoyed our pizza and the salads were quite nice as well. Reasonably quick, friendly service as well.

Nice hot pizza anytime I want it. The delivery is fast and the pizza always comes delicious and with lots of cheese. Also, the prices are reasonable and I will continue to eat here. Thank you.

The same Pizza Express experience as your used too (Quality food and excellent service) without the masses of people. Great if your actually want to hear the person that you came with speak.

I love this shop really a lot. The branch was small and a little bit far from the station. But the nice thing I like here is the atmosphere. The shop was a really quite one compared to other pizza express. The pizza was the same as others, always quality ones. The drink was a little expensive but you have lots of choices. The place was very good for a dinner with friends.

Cool, great quality pizza place. Been the same for the last 10 years. Bit expensive though. It is well located in central London. Always worth a visit if you are hungry.

Their sicillian lemonade is brilliant! the pizzas of course are also amazing! =D

This is a small branch of Pizza Express, opposite Kensington Police station, and sort of half-​way between Earl’s Court and Kensington (closer to the latter, if anything) — there aren’t any shops of note or any other restaurants on this section of Earl’s Court Road, so it’s not an area anyone is likely to travel too.
The pizzas — for which the chain is known — are good, and there are some lovely new recipies (one with goat’s cheese and spinach especially) but the choice of pasta dishes and salads is a bit limited. Although there is a decent choice of wine, at nearly £12 a bottle the cheapest house wine is a little pricey for a chain, in my view. The restaurant interior is a little spartan too, although service is swift and pleasant enough.
So I suppose it’s OK for a quick bite if you are in the area, but there’s a large ASK less than five minutes’ walk away on Kensington High Street, if want something with a slightly more sophisticated feel, and a few family-​run Italian places if you want a wider menu.

I used to be a fan of Pizza Express — but in fairness that was probably over 10 years ago. Now I am a bit bored. Although the concept was brilliant (good quality pizza, in a nice modern environment, at good prices) the company has not really evolved.
And although the pizzas are still good, there is now a lot more competition out there.
It would be nice if they thought of something to rejuvenate the experience…
