Portions are huge, pizza is amazing. I lost count how many times I’ve been to pizza metro pizza — and that is some loyalty as I don’t even live in London!

Best pizza in London? Absolutely not. Good pizza in London? Not really. Average pizza in London? Yes, if you have a pizza craving and you are in the area and: A) You are dining alone OR B) You and everyone in your party are fluent in sign language OR C) You and everyone in your party are fluent in conversing via eye blinking OR D) You and everyone in your party wish to communicate via passing written notes and/or text messages OR E) You and everyone in your party wish not to communicate with one another If the above doesn’t apply to you, then I’d probably recommend skipping Pizza Metro Pizza and dining elsewhere. If the above does apply to you, then please continue. I agree with a prior reviewer’s comment that the pizza here is the highlight with the other food just being average. Below is a breakdown of our order. Bruschetta: Good, probably four stars but it was overloaded with tomatoes, probably too many tomatoes(as in an entire container of cherry tomatoes you’d find at a supermarket) and I’m not sure about the shredded cabbage and iceberg lettuce on the side. It also needed salt. I’ve never had bruschetta served with lettuce/cabbage. It was weird. Meatballs: The plate included three giant meatballs(like almost the size of my fist). Eh, a mere three stars for this starter. The sauce was too sweet/sour for our liking and the meatballs were nothing to write home about. Overall, they lacked seasoning. Diavola pizza: Again, three stars, mainly due to the sweet/sour sauce and being compared to other super top notch pizza joints in London. The salami was tasty and we omitted the mushrooms because mushrooms just do not belong on this planet! Service was genuine and speedy though the amount of staff on duty would not be able to handle the load of a full restaurant, so beware if dining at a peak time — four stars for the service. The restaurant space itself was a lot bigger than it appeared and it was incredibly loud. For the volume, it gets a measly two stars. This restaurant is probably one of the loudest restaurants in London(in addition to Meat Liquor). We dined at 2:30 on a Saturday and about a third of the main floor restaurant space was full(the upstairs area and downstairs/bunker area were empty) and we could not converse. One reason as to why it is so loud in the restaurant is because of the high ceilings and tiled floor and tile that ascends up the walls about 4 ft. A second reason as to why it is so loud is because there was music playing. It was just so, so, so loud in the restaurant! I think we would have had a better experience had we been able to communicate verbally(since we do not know sign language, didn’t have a pen and paper, and have text message limits on our mobile plans).

The pizza is great. You get the full Italian atmosphere. The tiramisu worth the try. The prices are between 10 and 13 for a pizza for one person. You can get pasta if you want. The sea pasta is amazing.

This is my local Italian joint, and it’s great. Fresh, made-to-order thin crust pizzas up to a meter long, rich creamy pastas, and an excellent veal Milanese(my favourite). Moderately priced, friendly staff, and enough elbow room to comfortably cut your pizza. My only criticism is that it tends to get loud when full.

Lunch Went there with my friends. No exaggeration, we had a meter length pizza. I go to North Italy every month, or sometime almost living there every weekdays depending on projects. I can say that what I had is authentic one you can get in Italy. I’m not sure the base was fur, ended for five days as you can get in Italy but rarely. I wanted to give you four stars but didn’t like service. They treated us like shadow, which made me feel left out. Lots kids and babies so suitable for family lunch. Yes it was really noisy but didn’t affect to this star rating.

One of the best pizzas in London! Very much felt like NYC pizzas. You can’t beat brick oven!
