Portobello Wholefoods

The only wholefoods option left in the area since the demise of Fresh & Wild in Westbourne Grove. The premises are relatively small and squeezed into a corner under the Westway motorway fly-​over, but they stock a good range.
Fresh food is limited, but this is Portobello Road which hosts an organic market across the road every Thursday.
Excellent source of those little niggly bits you can’t find anywhere else like fresh yeast — or my favourite mango tea.
They do refills for Ecover and have been promoting recycling long before it became fashionable (customers donate their unwanted plastic bags for those who forgot to bring their own).
They also have a good selections of vitamins and beauty products and very friendly and knowledgeable staff.
