Their crawfish avocado salad is the best one! Coffee is okay, but the soup is as good as always

Came here for breakfast and got the bacon cheese tomato croissant with the apple carbonated drink. The croissant was really good and the drink wasn’t too sugary or heavy for the morning. I later returned to get their real smoothie(berry blast) which was well priced and delicious! I like how they have great quick snacks you can just pick up and go while providing people with healthy alternatives. Probably explains why they have so many locations because they must be doing something right!

I don’t usually like chains, but honestly, I’m starting to live off pret where I work because firstly, after many trials, their porridge in the morning is still the best out of a number of different chains– REALLYCREAMY and tasty and the oats aren’t all broken up and they have toppings FORFREE.(pretty sure they didn’t charge me for my banana either!) TAKETIPSCRUSSHANDEAT– with nasty porridge. Coffee is alright, not the best, the soups are quite nice, but they seem to taste very similar, unless it’s the souper-healthy one which they usually change more often, but only the bigger prets serve piping hot food, the small ones have it transported over so, in that sense, if you want hot meals, go to the larger one under the dlr. Also naked avocado bloomer is the bomb, just I wish they gave me less olives and more avocado! There’s so many pret stores in Canary wharf, if you can’t find what you need in one, go walk a little further. I know. its a chain. Don’t judge me, a girl’s gotta eat.

Wow, you gotta love the Wild crayfish and avocado bloomer sandwich. Such a rich taste and it’s so delicious. And, as usual, it’s always fresh at Pret. I love this particular location, because it’s clean, the staff is friendly and I always get served in less than 2 minutes.

Came back here for a quick breakfast. Apparently they charge different prices for dining in and taking out… so I decided to be cheap and take out! I had a egg and ham sandwich. Apparently the eggs used are free-range ie. the chickens can run around. It was good. There’s a starbucks opposite Pret too. Looks like I might be back for breakfast again tomorrow. :)

I never used to be a big fan of Pret and I’m certainly no fan of chains but because of the customer service in this Pret I was converted — I definitely think it helps in this instance that the location is Canary Wharf so the staff must be used to serving a large volume of customers quickly and efficiently. You know what you’re getting with Pret and I have to say they have a few staple items that are delicious and yes the prices could be a tad cheaper but the customer service is always really good, friendly and polite. Always return when I’m in the area and certainly recommend!

Nice selection of sandwiches. Nice croissants with tomato and cheese when warmed up. Average cost. Fast. 4 stars.

Wow, the other reviewers really have a high expectation! I think Pret is great at being what it is and I don’t find their sandwiches particularly unimaginative. Sure, there’s the standard Egg Mayo with Cress and a Pret Pickle and Smoked Salmon, but once you get past the standards, there are some really great sandwiches in that cooler. Try the Red Pepper Tapenade & Soft Cheese or the tasty Crunchy Humous Bloomer or even a Sweet Chilli Crayfish & Mango Bloomer. I really love their salads, especially the No Bread Crayfish & Avocado since I’m on a low carb eating régime. It’s just. delicious. As for the coffee, I find Pret to be better than the Starbuckses of the world. First, it’s organic milk. And second, it’s just better roasted. It always seems to taste better to me. Did I mention it’s also inexpensive. Sandwich, drink and bag of chips(they have some very unique flavors) is under £8. There are a couple of Prets in the Canada Square shopping centre, but the ones I have patronized are all the same. Take-away only with no seating and no free wifi of their own. Which is fine because the Canada Square wifi usually works okay.

Never ever thought I’d set foot in a Pret a Manger again, but today I did. Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing particularly wrong with Pret — it’s your average, run-of-the-mill sandwich shop(although, perhaps I’m taking freshly made in the shop sandwiches for granted here?). Anyway, my point being that there are similar sandwich chains, charging similar amounts of money for a sandwich, which I much prefer. Having said *all* of that, I was really stuck for lunch today — you ever have one of those days when just nothing takes your fancy? Today was one of those days… So I gave in and went to Pret, for a bit of variety — I imagine it’s been around 2 years since I last went to Pret for a sandwich albeit, I didn’t actually have a sandwich. I did have a sweet chilli crayfish wrap, which I was pleasantly surprised by — it was good to have some variety(not seen this filling in other shops) and it actually tasted pretty good too. So, Mr. Pret, I may be back sooner rather than later.

Just like all Pret a Mangers, the fare was pretty expected. A slew of sandwiches, salads, and drinks. Pret is a surefire way to make sure you get consistently edible, unimaginative food. But at least it’s consistent, cheap and fast.

Good service, a bit loud and difficult to make yourselves heard. Food price is reasonable, seating comfortable

Your usual pret but with good seating space and good availability throughout lunchtime
