Standard pret with outside seating spot next to the street round the corner from Barbican station — I only visit if I am visiting the dentist with the kiddies over the road. Nothing special and if there was a cute indie coffee store in range that is where you would find me. Free wi-​fi which is standard these days…

Pret’s are to London like Starbucks are to NYC, there’s one on every corner. The first day of our trip we wondered out of the Barbican station and stopped at our first Pret for some sustenance before heading to St. Bartholomew’s. Their yogurt parfaits blew my mind — pomegranate seeds and pistachio nuts?! Yes please! And they had blueberry flavored coffee — yummm. The free wifi was the icing on the cake!
