Another restaurant in the Brinkley chain. Ambience is modern and sedated but nice enough. The menu is small but very good value… £5 for a pizza to eat in in central London! I had a ribeye steak there with chips and bechamel which was superb and only £17. The tap beers are limited but OK with Wandle as the bitter and Kozel as the lager. Prices here are reasonable too with £4 per pint for a lager. It’s easy to reach as its right outside East Putney tube. It’s not a destination restaurant unless you live nearby or are in East Putney, but the food is fine and the prices are good, so what’s not to like?

I think many might be put off by the loud and dark front bar, without realising there is a quieter, lighter restaurant upstairs and a cosy outdoor garden downstairs. Happy hour cocktails between 5 and 7, perfect for a little tipple after work and only £4.50 each. The food isn’t bad either, the station burgers are wonderful especially with the layer of crispy caramelised onion and if you can catch the early-burger before 7 then you can get two excellent burgers, two delightful cocktails for an incredibly reasonable price. Also they are happy to give out the wifi password… just ask ;)

Cosmopolitan and sophisticated! That’s how I would describe this place. Lots of shiny glass. This place feels like a cocktail lounge/bar and actually does have some nice cocktails! The food is okay too. With pan Asian options that make for tasty snacks. Even on the weekend this is a laid back and quiet bar. A good place to meet up for drinks.

One of the more dynamic places to eat in Putney. It reminds me of a diner in the US. It can be quiet, lively during a game and turns into a quasi night club on the weekends. Really good selection of wine. The fried calamari and fried brie are my favourite starters. I would’ve like to give this place a 4 star but I was really disappointed with their sunday roast. I’d definitely go back again but will definitely avoid the roast.

Putney Station is definitely one of my favourite spots in East Putney for a relaxing drink or quick bite to eat. They have a simple but effective approach to food and drink, specialising in thin and good value(approx £5-£7.50) pizzas from their kitchen and wine, lager and local ale favourite Sambrook Wandle to drink. The venue is particularly noteworthy too, with its blinds and dim lighting evoking a classy yet uncomplicated US diner. Service is quick and friendly. Likin’ it.

The food is simple but good. The staff are friendly and consistent. Sunday morning brunch is relaxing and traditionally tasty. While the dinner menu is eclectic and hearty. Great for a quick drink, watching sports, relaxing and reading the papers or socialising with friends – just an all around good bet for most occasions.

Right opposite East Putney tube station, this bar and restuarant is great. They have a cocktail happy hour every day and do really good food. It’s not cheap but that’s London for you. The staff are very friendly, my parents are regulars here and know most of them by name! They’re open all day so you can get breakfast, lunch and dinner here and I’d recommend it for all.
