Went here again last night and yet again a 5 star experience. Great to see a restaurant passionate about quality and service.

We popped in here on Friday night after deciding that Mexican restaurants just don’t do good enough desserts. It was the second night it had been open and it wasn’t very full. The staff were very keen to hear our feedback and were really chatty, warm and friendly.
We had the crème brûlée and the banoffee pie along with two glasses of their dessert wine and a coffee. The crème brûlée was delicious — a really good flavour, and the banoffee pie was surprisingly not too sweet and full of lovely bananas.
The dessert wine was really interesting — one white and one red, both scrummy and the coffee was huge and delicious.
The place is really inviting, the loos smelt surprisingly lovely (it’s the little things I notice!) and the staff were exceptional. The cocktails look great and I could imagine coming in here for a drink at the bar as well as sampling some of the gorgeous food they have on offer.
They freely admitted that they are still having some teething issues (no card machine yet for example), but they should be sorting themselves out soon and then I predict that it will be my second home. Brunch at the weekend is going to be calling me back there I suspect!
