If you want to avoid the queues for topping up your oyster at Old Street station then this is the store to pick. Tiny booze and fags store with some household items. Nothing exciting but handy location.

This place caters for the passing trade coming and going from Old Street Station on the way into Shoreditch. Stop hear for some chewing gum or some late night booze. But other than this it offers very little. Average and cramped. But then again when is a little shop that sells cigs ever going to get 5 stars?

If you’re looking for first rate truffles and caviar then you, one, probably have too much money to throw around, and, two, will be out of luck at this shop. On the other hand, if you fancy a bottle of coke or a chocolate bar or some crisps, you’re prayers can be answered here.
As far as I know, this place is open ²⁴⁄₇. If not that, it’s open really really late because every time I pass by it (which is often late at night) it’s open.
There’s little special about this place, really. I mean what’s there to be special among rows of snack foods and cans of soup and bean unless Richard Simmons is hiding behind them waiting to jump out and teach you some great aerobics. This lack of specialty established, however, this place cvan take care of your basic needs and hunger pangs. In my case, I usually end up in here late at night after dancing like a maniac as my roommate buys chocolate which I inevitably help eat.
