Miles away from the Soho madness bubbling up just outside QV’s front doors(Cough, I’m lookin’ at you Sunset Strip!) QV Bar is a picture of class and sophistication in a beautiful historic setting. I’d known about the member’s club upstairs, but I recently learned that a piece of the restaurant had been re-fashioned into a bar that could be enjoyed by all… and enjoy we did. Sticking to drinks both on and off the menu, the bow-tied barman served up four fine cocktails at about £10 a pop. Just don’t be surprised if there’s no room at the inn — QV Bar seats about 20 and it’s certainly not the type of standing atmosphere that you’ll find at other Soho bars. Then again, QV Bar is not«most Soho bars» and that’s precisely why I will continue to love it, its class and its relaxed atmosphere for a long time to come. Bravo!
