One of the Galleries in the popular Tea Building, this is one of my favourite galleries in London. The thing i love best about Rocket is it’s fantastic bookshop. They represent the photographer Martin Parr, who i love and it was in here is first thumbed through one of my favourite photography books ‘Phil and Me’ by American photographer Amanda Tetraut.
The gallery itself is relatively small, but has a nice feel and they have some really interesting exhibitions. Check their website for listings.

Situated inside in trendy Shoreditch «Tea Building», this gallery lives up to the chic-​ness. Art on show here seems to generally by the kind of designy, sleek, crisp-​edged, often bit minimalisty sort of stuff –if you like that kind of thing– me, I personally prefer the messier stuff. Also some design exhibitions held here. Finally, worth mentioning are the artists books on sale in the back corner — I recommend making a pit-​stop here before heading next door to the much cooler, Hales Gallery.
