Roxeth Recreation Ground

This is a super park and is great to visit if you are in the area. There is well kept grass and trees, 2 newly surfaced tennis courts, and a fantastic playground area. The playground has recently been completed and is a combination of the old favourites such as slides and swings, together with some amazing climbing frames. My boys love this park. It’s quite busy so I feel comfortable as a lone mum with 2 young boys. There is a free car park actually in the grounds of the park so you don’t need to be carrying about picnic hampers around! I am particularly impressed that the park seems to be used by responsible dog owners. Lots of families use this at weekends for picnics, cricket and football. It’s a great place to while away the day.
