I love this place. The staff was so nice to me. I ordered a Calzone pizza and I swear this is how an Italian pizza should taste fresh and warm. Also I really enjoyed the live music. I will definitely recommend this place to all my mates.

I love this pub!!! Its so friendly, not pretentious but a good mix of trendies and locals. The staff are lovely, the pizzas are amazing and it is very child friendly, even has high chairs and a little car for them in the garden.

Great place, amazing atmosphere. Its a pub not to be missed. Already had few visits here with some friends of mine and each was a great experience. Last one was 1 or 2 weeks ago.
It was me and some mates when we went to Royal Sovereign to grab a bite. Got us some pizzas and cola. I my self had a Funghi, which was simply amazing. Fresh products especially the mushroom and fantastic toppings. Cola was cold and fresh with few ice cubes in it, it really did improve the taste of the pizza. everything cost me £10−15. I’ll definitely recommend this place to all my mates and make I’ll come more often.

Well, I must admit I went on a night that was perhaps atypical, but I had a marvellous time here last night. It was a birthday party for one of the Liberators (acid techno god), so we had the cream of acid techno DJs entertaining the crowds in a free all-​nighter. The place was packed, and there were many people there I know from the day, which was a lovely nostalgia trip for me.
So last night was not typical, but the pub itself is lovely, the prices are not too bad, the garden is very sweet, and the staff are charming and even though the place was packed and it was my first visit, after an hour they already knew my usual.
Hopefully there will be more similar events on here in future. I will look out for them. They certainly put on an excellent party!

The first time i went in here there was a wedding reception going on, a really cute and down to earth one. It was lovely.
The bar staff are local, so are the punters.
The pizza is really good.

I love this pub because of the friendly atmosphere and fantastic italian pizza. As well as staff and customers who are welcoming and fun, there’s a decent sized garden. Real ales include London Pride, Tribute and Doombar. Overall highly recommended

This is such a wonderful pub with hot ‘Pieminster Pies’ (even if they are microwaved by the crazy bar lady) and reasonably priced beer. It’s my local and has a special place in my heart. We decided to have a quiet NYE this year and headed on down here to mix with the various locals. Boy did they get a sight! 5 girls all dressed up in their finest with a gin or two in them already. I have to say it was one of the best nights out I’ve had in a while, there was a live band and we even got involved with the pool table.
Generally they have live music here, the gigs are free and rockabilly in style. It’s away from the high street so you get less of the East London pricks you can find in The Three Crowns or Coach and Horses. This is just a proper East London pub full of Old boys with manners — a gem!

This is my local pub and i love it. It has an amazing local, homely feel, the Landlord is friendly and there are always the same old men sitting at the bar. This is more than just a shabby local pub however; they do a brilliant quiz on alternate Wednesdays, show sport on large screens, have a great pool table and beer garden. There is a definite young studenty feel that mixes well with the old man vibe here, and the jukebox is crammed with some absolute gems. Also worth noting is that they serve Pie Minister pies — perfect for a winters day! I am proud to call this my local and wouldn’t want to drink elsewhere for a quiet pint or two!
