I selected this place based on good web reviews even though the location was far from our hotel. The menu is extensive. All the food was good– pizza, arancini, pasta alla Norma and branzino. The mini cannoli for dessert were a fail. Stale shells and watery filling. Unfortunately the staff tainted a decent meal. Not welcoming, and simply not nice. At the end of the meal we asked the waiter to call us a taxi(we are a family of 4 and we were far from our hotel in a neighbourhood we don’t know). He told us he’d ask the manager. He came back and said the manager said«no». Enough said. Take your business elsewhere.

It’s a very cute and quaint restaurant in a council estate neighbourhood. The rustic front makes you wonder… Upon booking I spoke to a rude and arrogant person which wasn’t a good start. When I turned up, I immediately knew the manageress was the person I spoke to. Again it wasn’t a good start. That aside the food was wonderful, great price, tasty and authentic. The staff are friendly and attentive which is great and make you feel looked after They do take away and the pizza is cheaper but better than pizza express. It’s a place I will go back to try more but maybe on the night the manageress is not working
