Ich hasse Lebensmittel kaufen zu müssen. Dauernd steht jemand im Weg, was man will, ist nicht mehr da und bis man einen Angestellten gefunden, hat man schon wieder vergessen, was man wollte. Supermärkte sind nichts für. Hier stimmt einfach alles.
Die Leute gehen aus dem Weg, die Regale werden ständig beigeräumt. Das beste aber ist das Bezahlen. Die Schlangen sind zwar lang, aber alle Kassen sind besetzt, man wird mit einem fröhlichenLächeln durchgewunken und weil man mit allen Karten zahlen kann, entfällt auch das nervige Tina, ich brauch hier mal ein Storno‘ weil mal wieder einer nicht genügend Barschaft bei sich hatte. Ist schon fein. Warum geht das in Deutschland nicht?

Reaonably sized store handy if you fancy a snack but don’t want to go to KFC. Good for bready things, dips and so on, and I usually buy something here before heading to the cinema just round the corner. Can get quite busy though.

A large local store, its very handy for picking up the weekly shopping returning home from the centre if you live in West London. It is right next door to Marble Arch tube, so its especially useful if you have just come back into London and are travelling home on the central line.
It has a good range of all the basic foods and drinks, and its fairly quick to go through. I’ve never waited much in queues as they have always had enough staff on duty. Its always open till midnight as well, so I tend to pop in on the way from Stansted, if I’m returning home late from abroad, as there are not many other shops open past ten or eleven.
