OK here’s the scoop!(get it?) Pistaschio and Coffee gelati are a match made in heaven. They also have gelato ice cream sandwiches! You can get 2 scoops of gelato in a warm brioche or between two waffles. Who needs lunch when you can have a gelato sandwich? Going to go back here to try it.

Solid gelato. I had bacio and coffee. Four stars because Gelupo and La Gelatiera are that much better.

Pistachio flavoured gelato yummy in my tummy. The staff was friendly and patient with letting me try different flavours! Also try the mixed berry if you’re a berry person.

I’ve been dying to try Scoop since I read a ROTD and saw the pictures. Pig-shaped ice lollies, hello! So we battled our way through Covent Garden at the weekend to get there. And… well. It was a bit underwhelming. This store is tiny. The queue was out of the door. But that usually means there’s some good stuff going on so we persevered. I’m glad we did. I ordered the salted caramel and milk chocolate in a plain cone and that salted caramel is maybe the best ice cream I’ve ever had. Seriously, it’s perfectly salty and sweet, and when you put it with the chocolate you just have a total winner. It’s pricy with £4 for a small cone and two scoops being the cheapest option here, but the flavour is bang on yum. I was a bit disappointed that all the pictures of epic ice lollies weren’t a reality though. I’ve had dreams about those heart shaped ice creams covered in sprinkles. Oh well.

Good quality gelato of London. Plenty of flavors and you can get multiple ones in your serving. Crepes, waffles, and cones too.

Cakes might be good, but honestly, really the ice cream is NOT good at all! Bland, or not well balanced… I do not get how the place can have good reviews… Go elsewhere…(for ice cream)

Lots of delicious different flavours of ice cream what’s not to like? On arrival you see presented so many different flavours it’s so hard to decide which ones to have. You can either have them in a cone or a cup and there is a choice of various sprinkles and sweets you can add on top. The ice cream is really tasty and they give you a good serving of two scoops on a cone. They are also running an offer of post your pics to twitter or instagram and you may be lucky enough to grab a free scoop, so get snapping. There is a small seated area at the back of the shop, we did manage to grab a couple of bar seats as when we visited it seemed to be overtaken by a large group of people that no longer appeared to be eating ice cream just hanging out. I noticed that they also have a coffee machine and they offer pancakes and waffles which you can have with a scoop. They have a few branches around London so if you have the hunger for something sweet and cold definitely pop in, you won’t regret it.

Whilst the interior of this ice cream bar is maybe not the most hospitable, the service and ice cream is delicious and well worth a stop. I highly recommend the chocolate mixed with the Straciatella(milk ice cream mixed with lashings of set chocolate). It’s a great treat after dates and the theatre!

Good selection of classic flavors like baccio, chocolate, mint etc. The quality of the ice cream is pretty high, but the service is just mediocre. Went twice and both times were met by a rude employee who really did not look like he wanted to be there. If you are high on service and price, would avoid. Ice cream was good nonetheless.

One time, I had a really filling dinner in Neal’s Yard, so my friend and I decided to go for a walk around Covent Garden. Then we stumbled on Scoop. Despite the fact that we were literally about to rupture our stomachs, we took one look at the gelato case and could NOT resist going in and continuing our night of gluttony. They have the best flavors here! Nothing too«edgy» like those crazy ice cream parlors in San Francisco that serve crazy things like oregano or salt or lightbulb flavored ice cream, but really well-done takes on classic ice cream flavors like chocolate, amaretto, pistachio, as well as various Italian desserts made into ice cream flavors like tiramisu. The fruit sorbets are bursting with fruit flavor too, you can tell that it was made with fresh, in-season ingredients. I always try to stop by Scoop if I’m in the area, with or without an empty stomach because sometimes you gotta TREATYO’SELF!

Friendly service and a good selection of delicious ice creams. The numerous choices can be a little overwhelming, so you may end up standing there getting in other customers way for some time whilst making your decision. Four flavours on one cone sounds a bit excessive but it works for me. The cheesecake flavour was a particular highlight.

Scoop, I think this might be love. Before you I had never met a pistachio ice cream I liked. They were always just so painfully wrong — synthetic-tasting with far too much green food dye and certainly not like any real pistachio I’d ever tasted! But this, this is perfect and ‘natural luxury gelato’ is exactly right. The flavour of their pistachio is unlike any other. It tastes just like the nut itself and almost has the same huskiness, straight from the shell! Don’t waste your time /waistline on cheap extracts & essence, just get the real deal! Their hazelnut is the same, only slightly less impressive because you can get good hazelnut gelato elsewhere. Pistachio can’t be beat ^^ Try the extra dark chocolate sorbet! It’s simply exquisite. It’s as black as coal and heady in an aromatic coffee, liquor-like way. intoxicating and so charming, but definitely not for everyone. You’ll wonder how it’s even a ‘sorbet’, because for something with no dairy it’s surprisingly rich! As interesting as it is, I seriously doubt I could finish even half a scoop though. It’s pretty darn intense! Alsoooo, if you like cinnamon you must try their cinnamon gelato. It’s so cinnamonny! Maybe a touch too sweet but it’s the closest thing to chai ice cream, which is divine. In short, a little on the expensive side and sometimes service isn’t great but their ice cream’s always top notch.

One of the best gelatos I’ve ever had! Super creamy and fantastic flavor. Good waffle cones that taste fresh and not stale. The tar looking dark chocolate has an off taste that I don’t care for. Will be back again and again.

Not a good taste, horrible service and the prices are too high for the quality.

Ordered: Tirasmisu and Biscotti flavour ice cream Price: ~£3.00 Review: It is suppossed to be one of the better places for Ice cream, but I still feel that it tastes rather artificial. I think if you really want ice cream — go to Nyc and try Sundaes and Cones! Every time I go back to nyc which is about every 8 weeks or so, I have to make a visit to Sundaes and Cones — worth the trip… oops forgot about Scoop. Scoop is ok, but I think it isn’t worth the extra mile if you’re craving an ice cream…

Very Italian little bistro with a friendly owner. Small place just around the corner with an extended variety of gelato and could be guaranteed authentic by the Non translated flavors on the menu! ha! The gelato was soooo creamy it’s irritable. Everything was full on flavored. On the side, coffee wass strong, in a good way, nothing really to complain about. They also carry a fair amount of italian desserts sold on the counter bar though not not for the cheapest, fair enough for the area I guess.

I came here because I got a waffles and gelato with hot chocolate voucher from Wowcher. I got the voucher because a friend has never had waffles before. We were there close to 7pm on a Sunday in early December, there were a few groups in there who ended up there from all the shopping. The place was very small, so having two groups of people there, my friend and I ended up sitting at their«bar». The gelato was great, but the waffles were reheated so it wasn’t very good as it has gone stale. The hot chocolate was pre-mixed and heated up, it was very bitter and it took us at least 5 sugars to make it drinkable. I would definitely not come back here again.

We stopped by here after getting the most delicious Fish & Chips ever, and this was a nice, easy(but heavy) sweet snack after lunch. This place is cute, has several seats, and a downstairs area. They sell merchandise for SCOOP but also tons of gelato. By tons I mean … literally there are probably over a dozen flavors! I was able to sample several flavors before settling on Mango and Yogurt. The yogurt totally blew my mind, it was soooo delicious but had that perfect amount of yogurt tartness to it. The mango was delicious as well, but I have an affinity for yogurt flavored things. It wasn’t too pricey from what I remember, although I never know what is considered pricey for gelato and what isn’t. The quality was great, and overall a super cute shop in the Covent Garden area!

Scoop is a lovely treat on a hot summer’s day while wandering round Covent Garden. Well worth a small detour from the main shopping area. Scoop serves gelato ice cream, which seems more creamy than usual English ice cream but not as creamy as Haagen Dazs. There is a wide selection of flavours but not as wide as suggested on their website. Another slight problem is that the queue frequently stretches out of the door and it’s hard to get a good view of all the flavours available. They’re very happy to give you little tasters if you’re not sure of your choice. There is a choice of cones available. Another little tip is that they will give you a combination of 2 flavours in a single scoop, which are usually very generous in size. Scoop is my little treat to myself on a hot summer’s day in Covent Garden before a little 30 second stroll up to Neal’s Yard dairy for cheese on the same street.
