Give them a wide birth. The old Lawleys was great but taken over years ago and now charges far are to high.
Not Reliable or efficent. Cost double the original quote for routine work which ran into thousands.

Sadly very slow, expensive and concerning service. After living in Northwood for 21 years used this firm after recommendation from Robsons Estate agents. Quoted £600 for house sale ended up with yet as unexplained bill of £3000.
I had to chase up routine documents myself and sale took 5 months. Most worryingly still hadn’t receive proceds of sale after 6 weeks. I would have completed if monies hadn’t been available a day after completion.
Unhelpful, expensive and very concerning. reported to legal complaints board for compensation and law soceity for fee reduction now investigating.

My family has used this solicitors a number of times now. They were professional in the most part, and got the job done.
Am not convinced they were the best value for money, but sometimes a local business location is more convenient — particularly when verifying your identity, and signing important documentation.
