We have been loyal customers of Sema for more than a decade. This is a family run Thai restaurant which serves great food. Ver friendly staff, fast service. Our favourite is their Sunday daytime menu which gives you a good selection for starters (excellent fish cakes recommended) and main course (my favourite is their Pad Thai) with either a glass of wine or dessert. This restaurant has been going for a long time an area rich of choice and there is a reason for it.

I lived in East Dulwich for a year before trying Sema, convinced that if the average London thai food was anything like most of the chinese food I’ve had here, I would be sorely disappointed.
Sema proved that theory wrong. I generally get takeout, and everything I have ordered from this place has been quite good… nice quality ingredients and not all super greasy like another area thai place.
They also usually have my order ready within 5 – 10 minutes of placing it.

i went to sema purely because i was visiting my best mate (it was my birthday that time then!) and she lives in that area. sema what can i say about it? its in a nice up coming area and well the food is just to die for. the pad thai is the best choice and never felt satisfied! this was my first time eating thai and now im converted :):)

If Thai is your thing and you’re in the vicinity then you could do worse than visit Sema Thai. Good food (well you’ld expect nothing less from an eating establishment) never too busy (surprisingly quiet at times) and reasonably priced. Either eat in or take away with a wide variety of dishes many of which come in meat, fish/​seafood or vegetarian combinations.

I have been going to Sema Thai for years and would highly recommend the place. Wonderful food and friendly service and the recent refurbishment has meant it’s even difficult to get a table because it’s so busy night after night. If you love thai food tis is the place to go, also they have a great fishtank there which is very impressive. Best advice would be to pre-​book as it is soo busy, lol
