nice mini wall of kimchi, friendly service, large selection of dried seaweed, also had some fresh things (hard-​to-​find perilla leaves for example) all in all a handy place in a pinch and service was friendly. I would frequent this place if i happened to be in the area but would not go across town to shop here

As a Korean living in the area, the necessity for kimchi, samgupsal and soju often comes at weird hours of the day. Even though the store is much smaller than the ones in Golders Green or even New Malden, it does carry all the basic Korean necessities. With a good selection of instant noodles, kimchi, sauces and freezer section — I can get my fix quite easily at a cheaper price that the stores in Tottenham Court Road. They also have an online website where you can get delivery but I think its specifically tailored to Koreans.

A local asian grocery – one of two that I know of just off Finchley Rd, the other being K-​Mart in Golders Green. Delicious prepared foods (takoyaki, anyone?), the usual dry and canned goods, a small freezer section and refrigerated section, and plenty of great produce displayed out front. I came in with a recipe for okonomiyaki and the gals behind the counter helped me find the ingredients that were unfamiliar to me. Pretty great resource if you don’t want to go into chinatown.

Just discovered this little shop off Finchley Road. One of few asian markets that specialises in Korean groceries. The clerk was extremely helpful and nice, and it is great to find a place to buy noodles, kimchee, seaweed, dried fish, and chili paste for Korean cooking. A small selection of prepared foods as well.
