Same situation as Jordan B. Any company who closes without any warning and totally drops their current orders needs to be publicly shamed. I spent a long time looking for a couch. Almost a year, actually. We needed a specific size, had a lot of preferences on shape and comfort, and couldn’t agree on color. We trekked down to their showroom(as well as a few further away) and finally decided to go for it. They required payment in full(around $ 3400) which should have been my first red flag. I placed an order anyway and was told it would be delivered in 4 – 6 weeks. Maybe an extra week because we were slightly outside their delivery area. This was on July 30. And then, crickets. 6 weeks later(Sept 10) I get an email«We’re closing! Showroom sale all this week!» I email back: what does this mean for current orders? Technically you should be shipping my couch by now, so even if you’re closing in 3 days, the third party trucking company should already have the order. No reply. Two weeks later I write a furious email to the UK division. A few days later someone gets back to me saying they’re understaffed and overworked. They say they are canceling my order unless I can get someone in the city to accept the delivery and then take on the task of getting it to me in NH. At this point, I’m furious. They were going to cancel my order without even telling me? I do have unemployed friends in NY but before I started begging for favors, I emailed back confirming the final price with the promised discount and without the NH shipping fees. They responded saying«Oh, great news! We’re going to ship your couch after all!» How is this great news? This is your only job. This has been your only job for over 8 weeks. In that email, they said it would take two more weeks. I should have cancelled. I really should have. But I was so invested at this point and really didn’t want to put in even more research and then wait another two months for another couch. I wanted the one I ordered. After this email, it was crickets again. I was getting ready to contest the charge with my credit card company. Five weeks later(yesterday) I received the couch. It looks good. It feels ok. It gives me anxiety just to look at it. I can’t believe the shit this company has put me through, and after all, there was no discount given, no apologies, and nobody to take responsibility. TL;DR: 4 – 6 week delivery window actually took 12, and they couldn’t have been more rude and condescending about it. The company closed after taking 100% deposits from customers and would have run off with the money if I hadn’t chased them down over it. I realize they’re only in the UK now, but I would never recommend them to a friend over there and feel that I need to properly warn. Their employee reviews on Glassdoor are equally unfavorable. Beware!

This company makes okay couches, but they have some of the worst customer service I’ve encountered in my long career of ‘buying anything ever’. Here are the slapstick details… 1) I purchased a custom couch from them from their NYC location. It took 2 months longer than told, but they threw in some throw pillows for the delay.(I was thankful.) However, once received, it turns out a strap that was supposed to be under the pullout bed was missing(which I figured out when my 3 year old hurt his leg falling through it). So I sent them an email asking if they could send me one to rectify the problem. 2) They would get the strap right away! Sorry for the inconvenience. Sorry about your kid.(5 weeks later the strap never showed up.) So I sent another email… checking in. 3) Our bad! So sorry! Ooops. It’s on its way! Swearzies(No it wasn’t) 3 more weeks go by. 4) Thank you for your email but our NYC location is closed. Gone. Buh-bye. The person you’ve been dealing with is gone and no one has picked up their accounts.(So I write an email to the London office. Remember… this is only requesting a simple strap for a pull out bed. Nothing complicated here.) 5) Cheerio mate! So sorry to hear of your problems. Damn New Yorkers right?! Send us pictures of the needed strap. We’re on it!(No they’re not. 3 weeks go by again. I email them to inquire.) 6) Sorry. But we don’t trade with the US anymore. Piss off. Not our fault. The level of customer service here is comedy. It’s a strap. This isn’t difficult. Plus, the fact that they said they would help, and ultimately bailed on their promise(several times) is a huge red flag. This is your warning. I would not buy from a place that’s closing up locations and treating current customers poorly. Especially when you’re dropping a decent amount of money on a couch.

I bought the Buttons bed from about 6 months ago. It was great value and the delivery service was fantastic — the guys who delivered the bed and put it together on site, couldn’t have been nicer or more efficient. I looked around for ages to find a bed I liked and was way cheaper than all the other high street shops, and the beds were much nicer. Highly recommended. In fact I liked the bed so much I’ve just ordered another one! Not the same one, but similar. I can’t remember the name. That’s due to arrive in 2 weeks time.

A great website — so easy to navigate, clear, user friendly, quirky and reassuring in terms of description, quality, service and end product. I have ordered two items from in the last six weeks and am really delighted with them both. Both came as promised with no added complication — and I felt as if I was a valued customer all the way through the process, even when receiving emails from . Well done — am very very impressed and you deserve success. The products are super and with no hidden flaws. I will recommend your company to others without hesitation — and I have never visited your showroom!

do wonderful sofas. We bought two(yes two) of the bluebell sofa in heat and dust and they are wonderfully made and have a timeless elegance that fits with our victorian house. In fact, we never used one and it’s not for sale(clikc here if you want to buy it) Having looked at all the competition they are the best combination of value and solid workmanship: not cheap, but you get what you pay for.
