I have been told that Specsavers often make minor adjustments to your prescription to get you to purchase a new pair of glasses. I need not be the one to tell you that your vision is very important and you need to go somewhere that you can trust. I cannot in my right mind recommend them to anyone, not even my worst enemy! I would rather stick hot needles in my eyes before ever going back to Specsavers EVER.” YOU ARE RIGHT! I got the same negative experience: the first time was bad, I gave them the option of doubt and the result was again bad. I really did not need to change my glasses but they made minor adjustments to my prescription to get me to purchase a new pair of glasses. AVOID THE PLACE.

Bought a new pair of frames (fairly trendy ones) with ultrathin lenses for less than £200, which also included a free eye test. Very happy with this. Another shop was quoting nothing less than £250.
This branch is pretty busy with office workers and the staff work hard and cheerfully together to serve all customers. Commended.
My specs were ready on the day they said they would be and were available to collect later that morning.
