I went here earlier this evening for a pedicure after getting an offer and having previously had my shellac nails removed here a couple of months ago. I arrived earlier than scheduled but thought I’d see if I could be seen before my appointment on the off chance and was told abruptly by the receptionist that this wouldn’t be possible so I looked around the shops in nearby Covent Garden for a bit to waste time. On my return I then had to wait about ten minutes for the previous appointment to finish up which was a little annoying. The treatment was very good and relaxing, and the therapist was nice and friendly, however when she was cutting the cuticles on one of my big toes she was a bit too rough and made it bleed and it was a bit sore. I liked the choice of polish and there were plenty of colours to choose from and I would return if there was a special offer on as the price was good for central London. Warning: the atmosphere is very loud — with really loud dance music like you’re in a club — and not very relaxing, unless you’re in the downstairs treatment room. Also the room isn’t really set up for pedicures so you have to rest your feet on the therapist so it can be a little uncomfortable and shaky! Handy central location as the salon is close to Covent Garden, Leicester Square, Charing Cross and Soho so excellent transport links.

The salon room itself is pretty pokey, but I’ve always had fast, expert service at this salon. Their shellac service is really good, and it’s in the deal location for me to nip out to on my lunchbreak. I’d definitely recommend signing up to their text communication so you get advance news of special offers. I don’t think I’d go here to get my hair done as the place is mega busy and not so relaxing, but for treatments you have your own room downstairs which is a bit less noisy thankfully!

Wanted to get a haircut and found on Unilocal this place. Saw it on Charing Cross and stood outside across the street to see what people looked like when they walked out. Was sort of scared I would end up with a shaved head and blue hair. With a lot of people in there, a lot of businessmen walked out with a conservative haircut. That was good news! The next day I went — almost to closing time — and Richard took care of me. He asked if I wanted scissors or razor. Definitely scissors. Was impressed on how he cut the hair. Felt like I was at some high fashion salon with the way my hair was being cut. Going to come here again when I come to London — maybe two years, but this definitely was a great stop during my 6 day stay here in London. Definitely would recommend it to anyone wanting a trim or a haircut. People were friendly and prices were good.

I love these guys! Stumbled across this absolute gem when I was in desperate need of a mop chop one afternoon. Nowadays, I make the hefty expedition allll the way from east just to be snippered by these wonderful clippers. What drives me here time after time has to be the phenomenally low price at roughly £9 a cut for mens. Considering its central location crowded with tourists eager to empty their pockets, Splash has remained true by providing the best prices in the whole of London. Now don’t get me wrong, it’s not all about the price. The staff are fantastic! They are highly skilled, have a passion for their work, are very friendly and always happy! Is that not enough for you? Well they also do a ton of treatments downstairs for women and men, you don’t need to book for mens haircuts, the queues(if any) go down really quickly, they play great music and there’s a really lovely atmosphere. In truth this is more than just a salon.

I loved it. I was assisted by Adriano, a young Italian guy, he was lovely and really meticulous with his work. I got a wash, cut and blow dry. It was a bit pricey(£30) but it was worth it.

Splash is a trendy little salon packed in between a row of bookstores and coffee shops. It inhabits the space formerly occupied by Pax Salon, and while they don’t offer £6 cuts like Pax, you can get a no-frills clipper cut for £7. I did just that, and walked out 10 min. later a happy customer.
