Springtime Nursery – Top Pets

I had the misfortune to enter this pet shop last Bank holiday
with my husband and our 8month old Westie, whom I bought from a
registered KC breeder last Decenber. The owner admired my dog and
invited me to look at the Westie Pups she had for sale. Well to say I
was shocked at what I saw would be an understatement. She said they were
10 weeks old but bearing in mind my dog was that age when I bought him,
the 3 puppies in the cage were tiny in comparison. Their coats were
little more than fine down and rather grey in colour and they were very
quiet and almost listless. A complete contrast to how my puppy had
looked and behaved when I got him. I held one for a moment, and I got
the feeling she was quite keen for me to buy one. I remained polite and
said that I wasn’t ready to have a nother dog yet. and we promptly left. I
don’t believe the pups were 10 weeks old probably no more than 7 to 8
weeks at most. Anyone that buys a dog from a place like this is mad and
can only be encouraging the awful puppy farms. Please please please if
you want to buy a dog do some research and buy from a reputable breeder
or a rehoming centre as at least you will be more likely to have some
comeback if your puppy turns out to be in bad health
