It’s always a busy library but there is always help at hand when needed. There is a large childrens library, as well as a teenage fiction section. There is also a local history section, as well as a large amount of CDs and DVDs on offer.
There is a public toilet and recently they have acquired a coffee machine, as well as a self service black and white photocopier.
They have about 10 computers;3 for the use of children or adults with children, a 15minute only computer, a half an hour computer with a scanner and hour long computers. Printouts can be done very cheaply.
There are often activities such as Baby Bounce and Storytime which are popular events. At times this means the library can get noisy, but the staff are careful to ensure the relaxed atmosphere of the building doesn’t mean the noise is too loud.
There is an exhibition area at the front of the library which is often filled with local artwork.

This is a great library. Really efficient and quiet and they have a huge range of books. Also they have computers which are reallu useful and the service they provide is great. Its quite big and there is a childrens area. The staff are extremely helpful and polite and friendly. Nice place, nothing to criticise
