Sensational Italian food — attention to detail and ingredient quality unsurpassable!

awful service! horrible food! you know your in a bad restaurant when you order a salad and its bad! 24 hours later, i have food poisoning ! it can’t have been anything else i’d eaten got it from this dirty place :(severely sick :(can i sue?

The staff were great, but like all Strada’s, the food is nothing special and overpriced for what you get. The desserts were good, but eveyone commented on how the main courses were just okay. Bland is the word I would use.

Some of the worst service I have ever encountered! It’s a chain restaurant so things are pretty standard, as a chef it must be ABC Zzzzzzz. So Zzzzzzz that they brought the wrong starter and hour and a half later I’m still waiting for my main…

It does what it says on the tin. The food is good and the service efficient and friendly. It feels very «chainy» (which it is) but they do good 2-​for-​1 deals. Its actually quite a good place to have a £6.50 lunch on Clapham High Street at the moment.

Very good pizza.
Semi-​decent tiramisu, although i must remember not to order it again. Too much whipped cream. My own tiramisu is infinitely better!
Service was a bit on the slower side, but can’t complain.
Ambiance was rather bad, however, the place being crammed to explosion, small for the tables it is trying to accommodate, and as a result very very loud.

This Strada is lovely, with plenty of tables, and a nice little covered terrace area for if the weather is warm, or you’re with smokers. On the evening I went, the staff were very friendly, the food tasty and arriving promptly, and a nice cosy atmsosphere. The salad to start was huge (which was great!) and the vegetable risotto for mains was wonderful.

I really like this Strada, I’ve been twice and the service is really good. They aren’t at that annoying ‘check-​on-​you-​every-​second’ type of service, but they are efficient for good quick hearty meals — I’ve had pizza both times and walked out feeling I’ve eaten as close as I can get to Italian pizzas from a chain without being in Italy. The desserts are also great, not to miss!

marvellous food at a reasonable price

This is a good reliable part of the strada chain. The staff are generally helpful and if anything goes wrong, then they make sure they take it off the bill, which is handy to know.
The little booths around the back a pretty good fun if there are 4 or 5 of you, if you are a bigger group then you’ll need to book the very back section. They tend to be pretty good at accommodating birthday cakes and that sort of thing.
Two good tips, if you have either a Q or Kudos card (if you don’t you can get one from Kazbar (gay bar) just down the road or a cannons gym membership, you can get 20% off the total bill. Not bad eh? Always best to let them know when yo are ordering if you remember as it saves time at the end when they are trying to OK it with the manager.
The house red is perfectly quaffable, the grilled chicken dishes and the avocado and bacon salad (ask for it as a main) are also worth a try and the pizzas are consistently pretty good.
