Tayyab Halal Meats

Handy for meat even if you’re not a muslim. The meat tends to be cleaner as the blood is drained out of the animal (sorry if that sounds gross!) and that’s much cleaner and better for the meat than stunning the animal. Stunning causes the blood to permeate the flesh so i always buy halal meat.
They sell everything– even things you might not think were edible including brain, kidneys, tonguethats right even TONGUE of cows which are edible but which ive never tried. other than that its chicken, red meat, mince etc. They prepare the meat in front of you (chop it up or mince it whatever you ask for) and have the meat in a chiller under the counter (but its visible so you can see what you’re buying.) Friendly staff and they always joke with me about buying brains (i think they’re sheep brains). Try it for something new or just get your usual meats from here. Cheaper than Tescos and nice people. Recommended.
