An indie version of Pret.
I say this as a compliment!
Friendly guys. Nice food. Pre-​made salads, sandwiches and other goodies in the cooler — grab ‘n go or stay and enjoy. Nice coffee and comfy seating. Very welcoming overall and definitely beats Pret. Definitely. Go local, peeps!
50 percent off food at 4pm, too! Pretty stellar.

This place is much like a Pret, interesting considering they are competing with a Pret two doors away. The prices are very much in the same area, that is: too expensive for too little food.
However, their food seems to be a bit more hit and miss; even with the 50% reduction after 4pm, their mozzarella and roasted tomato pasta was severely bland. They are trying hard to differentiate themselves with nice pasties and sausage rolls and different hot food items every day. I had a brie sandwich another time which was fine.
The service is quick and really friendly. This place shows promise but it’s not there yet.

New café opened up on Clerkenwell Road — does the best bacon sandwich in the area and the coffee is pretty good too! Nice café with seating for lunch and the sandwiches look nice. Staff have all been really friendly and efficient too. Although not had it, they are advertising a supper club which alos looks appealing.
