Ahh yes, gone are the days when James & Enda used to run it. We had many, many, MANY, liquid lunches and lock-​ins with nary a stripper in sight. Never mind, I’m in Australia now but really do miss a good English pub

It’s not often I will write a bad review on an establishment that purveys alcohol, but alas, this is one of those times.
The Albany has, if I recall correctly, been on the market now for 3 years and has had 2 new tenants come and go very quickly in that time. Wwith nothing remarkable to report, other than it sells beer, I am afraid I cheating qype out of a review point. but as I said It sells beer.
