So, I have been here for lunch and for drinks. Yes, I am do like it, however, it is rather expensive for what it is. During the week days it can be rather quiet at a lunchtime, as it is located on a residential estate. I went here with a work colleague for lunch and ordered the pie and mash. It was really good, and tasted lovely, although there was a significant lack of gravy, but that didn’t ruin it for me. The toilets can smell a bit damp-ish, but they are clean and have a really funky interior to them. There is a decent amount of outside seating which also have heaters located above some of the tables for the colder evenings. Some times, when we have been in just having drinks, you can wait an age to get served, at one point, one person was serving and there were 6 people waiting. Cost wise, as I said, it is quite a bit more than I would expect for this location and for the drinks themselves. I don’t know if this is in the effort to keep a certain type of patron out. I guess there are other pubs locally that cater for cheaper drinks. The décor and layout is good and there is a variety of seating areas. At the moment I am a massive fan of their in wall real fires that they have on the go here. They have comfy sofas, high leather back stools, armchairs, wingback chairs so there is something to suit all. They also sell Camden Brewery drinks which is great, GOLONDON! Buying local. I will keep on going back, I do really like it, very close to a 4, if you didn’t have to wait for serving as much and wasn’t so expensive.

I just came across this place in a Google search as I was looking for a pub close by. I never heard of this place before and we were amazed when we drove up and saw other restaurants and amenities. We had to pay for car parking and were lucky to have got a spot close to the pub. When we arrived, it was 1.30pm and not busy. The décor is very nice. My party mostly ordered the chicken roast and it was not your tradition chicken roast. We were served half chicken, which was nice with the veg, gravy & Yorkshire pudding. Those that had the pork belly found it lovely, except for the crackling. Overall, we didn’t have the best dining experience due to mixup with orders, but the manager since has been providing great customer service and gratitude to welcome us back for a complimentary meal.

Expensive! Didn’t’ like it at all. Not a pub more of a long bar! Unfriendly and loud both sides of the bar. Nicer proper pub just around the corner!

Rather expensive, and lacking soul(at least in the daytime) this very modern bar does do pretty good burgers. Offish staff, and a rather middle-of-the-road menu point to something of a lack of direction; but then, there’s not an awful lot of competition locally.

nice venue with parking and very modern, a little on the expensive side but not drastically but i paid nearly £20.00 for a beer a single and two cokes, might of been a mistake with the lady behind the bar and she may of overcharged me but she was also very rude and arrogant which spoiled the atmosphere. to be fair she may of just been having a bad day and we was caught in it, im sure next time im there it will be much better

Very modern. Friendly lunch time service. Range of bourbon. Good selection of beers — it’s a Young’s pub. TVs. Leather sofas. Even a little area full of books. confused library perhaps? Quiet on Sat lunch, no idea about other times.

I took my mum here early one evening in the week and they had a large area reserved for a party so we sat down the back end on wooden chairs and table. My mum has difficulty walking, this place is suitable for disabled access but does not have a disabled toilet. My mum ordered a pot of tea which was pricey at almost 2.00 but she did say it was good. They did not serve any ales at this pub so I was forced to get a Fosters. This is a new pub and is very tastefully decorated. The food looked good and the menu is quite inventive for British food. The prices are alittle high for this area though. Probably a good thing as it is situated right next to a large council estate on the other side of the main road. I was fascinated by the glass fire place between table booths, it looked great. No good for ales but a nice welcomed classy joint for this otherwise pretty run down area.
