The Fen

Monopoly Pub Crawl — Stop #2 — Fenchurch St Station (Railway)
The Fen is your standard train station pub tucked away in the back corner between London’s version of a Quick-​E-​Mart and some sort of food shop. It’s about what you’d expect — wood panelled walls, a scattering of seats, and the typical slot/​pub game machines. The bar is a bit small but it’s about proportionate for the size of the pub so no complaints there.
What let it down on a Saturday morning was the barman. He seemed a bit grumpy at having to serve us (come on mate, it was only our second pub so we weren’t rowdy yet!) and was very slow to pour a pint. I’m a bit surprised that the bar doesn’t put someone quicker (or maybe two people) in as the place must get rammed for an hour or so every Saturday with pub crawlers as this is the only pub open in the area.
You may also be visited by some pigeons that obviously have no fear of people or perhaps Mr. P just wanted a pint before he went back to the missus.
Overall, an alright pub but it goes down to two stars due to the poor attitude of the barman.
