The Gallery is Chiswick’s only late night bar cum nightclub and having heard various stories and opinions of it over the years (both good and bad), I decided to dip my toe and give it a go. First impressions were not good in that it looked like a village hall that had been given a lick of paint to try and make it look like a club. I had heard that it had been taken over by a guy who used to run another pub in Chiswick so I thought it only fair to defer my opinion.
It is a late night venue and I guess being the only in Chiswick it has a captive audience and can therefore charge what it likes. Consequently I had to pay to get in as it was after 11 which I guess is normal for a nightclub, the drinks were on the high side and I am not sure this place really justifies the cost.
If you want somewhere to go when the pubs close that is something like a nightclub and you have to be in Chiswick — then this is the only option, been to better but they have a captive audience.
